Chelsea are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Manchester City’s Riyad MAHREZ. According to Foot Mercato, there’s a list of top European clubs that have set their sights on the 31-year-old player ahead of the summer transfer window. Mahrez, 31, ended up at the Etihad Stadium after unbelievable success at the King Poewr Stadium. If he moved to Stamford Bridge, it should raise question marks over the future of Chelsea wide man Hakim Ziyech. They’re very similar players that would be hard to fit into the same side. Mahrez would most likely be the preferred starter between the two players and if he indeed joins the Blues this summer, the move may spell the end of Ziyech’s Chelsea career and the Moroccan international forward could be one of the players to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer. Former Blues star Fabregas has urged the club to sign the player he called ‘fantastic’
